Proper Dinner Club —
Membership Terms & Conditions

Last updated: May 2026

Welcome to Proper Dinner Club. Membership grants access to privately prepared meals, seasonal menus, member-only privileges, and occasional exclusive experiences. By joining, members agree to the following terms.

1.

Membership

1.1 Private Club Membership

Proper Dinner Club is a private dining membership club, not a public restaurant or on-demand delivery platform. Membership provides access to club meals, member pricing, and selected member privileges.

1.2 Membership Cycle

Membership runs in fixed 4-week cycles beginning on your activation date.

1.3 Renewal

Membership may be renewed at the end of each cycle. Renewal keeps your membership active and preserves any eligible unused meal credits.

1.4 Grace Period

Members have 14 days from cycle expiry to renew membership and reactivate unused eligible meal credits.

Credits never expire while your membership stays active or is renewed within the 14-day grace period. Only if membership is not renewed within this period:

  • locked credits are forfeited;
  • access to member privileges ends;
  • membership status becomes inactive.
2.

Meal Credits

2.1 Credits

Meal allowances are issued as membership credits.

Credits may only be used for:

  • scheduled club dinners;
  • eligible Chef’s Reserve selections;
  • selected member-only offers where stated.

Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.

2.2 Flexibility

Members may:

  • skip deliveries;
  • pause scheduling;
  • choose meals later within their active cycle;
  • subject to ordering cut-off times.

2.3 Credit Carry Forward

Unused credits stack and never expire while your membership stays active or is renewed within the 14-day grace period — credits from every cycle carry forward, regardless of age. Credits are only forfeited if membership lapses beyond the 14-day grace period.

3.

Refund Policy

3.1 Membership Fees

Membership fees are generally non-refundable once a cycle has started, because kitchen planning, ingredient purchasing, and member allocation begin immediately.

3.2 Exceptions

Refunds may be considered where:

  • Proper Dinner Club cannot reasonably provide service;
  • deliveries cannot be fulfilled for operational reasons;
  • membership was charged in error.

Refund decisions remain at club discretion.

3.3 Credits

Unused meal credits are not redeemable for cash.

4.

Complaints & Resolution Procedure

We care deeply about quality.

If something is not right, members should contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

Complaints should include:

  • member name;
  • order/date;
  • description of issue;
  • photo where helpful.

We will investigate promptly and may, where appropriate:

  • replace the meal;
  • restore credits;
  • offer club credit;
  • provide another fair remedy.

Abusive, dishonest, or fraudulent claims may be refused.

5.

Referral Programme

5.1 Eligibility

Members may invite new households to join.

Referral rewards are issued only when:

  • the referred household becomes a paying member;
  • payment clears successfully;
  • fraud checks are passed.

5.2 Rewards

Referral rewards may include:

  • bonus meal credits;
  • special access offers;
  • limited member gifts;
  • seasonal promotions.

Rewards may vary over time.

5.3 Fair Use

Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, false households, or manipulated referrals are prohibited. Improper referrals may be cancelled.

5.4 Non-members

Non-members who successfully refer friends must have a delivery address within our delivery zones. Referral rewards earned while you are not a member are held in a reserved wallet that never expires. Reserved credits become spendable the moment you start (or renew) a membership, where they combine with your membership credits and share the same lifespan.

6.

Events & Member Experiences

From time to time, Proper Dinner Club may host private gatherings, tasting evenings, garden suppers, or seasonal events.

Invitations may be:

  • limited;
  • ticketed;
  • priority allocated by membership tier;
  • subject to availability.

Event terms may vary per invitation.

7.

Food, Preferences & Dietary Responsibility

Members must notify us of preferences before ordering.

While care is taken, our kitchen handles:

  • dairy;
  • eggs;
  • nuts;
  • gluten;
  • shellfish;
  • soy;
  • other allergens.

We cannot guarantee zero cross-contact. Members order at their own discretion.

8.

Delivery & Service

Delivery windows are estimates only.

Occasionally delays may occur due to:

  • weather;
  • traffic;
  • kitchen circumstances;
  • force majeure events.

Reasonable delays do not automatically create refund rights.

9.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Proper Dinner Club’s liability is limited to the value of the affected meal, credit, or membership fee paid.

We are not liable for:

  • indirect losses;
  • lost profits;
  • personal scheduling inconvenience;
  • events beyond reasonable control.

Nothing limits liability where exclusion is unlawful.

10.

Account Suspension / Termination

We may suspend or terminate membership where a member:

  • abuses staff;
  • repeatedly violates ordering rules;
  • commits fraud;
  • resells club meals;
  • damages club reputation maliciously;
  • misuses referral programmes.

Unused credits may be forfeited in cases of serious misconduct.

11.

Changes

We may update club terms, pricing, menus, or benefits from time to time.

Where changes materially affect members, reasonable notice will be given.

12.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand.
